DNC Recap
I returned, from the most exciting Democratic Convention I have ever attended. It has truly been incredible. After attending three I can say that Denver reflected the most diversity in delegates. More women represented and people of all ages and races. Standing on that convention floor seeing everyone united, I was proud to be a Democrat.
Michelle Obama's speech focused on the importance of family values and Senator Ted Kennedy's addresses were touching. Senator Hillary Clinton's much anticipated speech reminded us all how far we have come and how hard it is to break through that glass ceiling of politics. I could empathize with her battles. Her imagery of Harriet Tubman's fight to "Don't ever stop. Keep going." resonated with me. But most of all Hillary made it clear that we were in Denver because we want America to make a change. We need a change in priorities and Barack Obama is the person.
When Barack spoke, it was moving to watch as 84,000 people stood united to support our dream of change. It was a joy to share that special moment with my fellow delegates and new friends I met at the convention. Barack Obama once again showed that he is ready to lead our country in a new positive direction.

Day one of the Democratic
Day one of the Democratic National Convention proceeded relatively smoothly HP0-J23 dumps, as Michelle Obama kicked off the convention with a stirring tribute to her husband. Senator Ted Kennedy made a surprise appearance at the convention despite doctor's orders not to travel. Police arrested three drug addicts in Denver but determined they were not a threat to Obama JN0-400 dumps. What did you think of Michelle Obama's speech? I, for one, am not giving up on the idea of a woman in the White House as president JN0-350 dumps. Maybe Michelle Obama or Caroline Kennedy can give us a run for our money down the road.
