On January 29^th 2009, President Obama signed his first bill in office - the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Restoration Act. In a packed room, Mrs. Lilly Ledbetter was in attendance to see this historic day.

Today I attended the Hawaii Veterans for Obama luncheon at Dole Cannery. The event featured myself along with Hawaii's full Congressional Delegation, Senator Inouye, Senator Akaka and Representative Abercrombie. The room was full of veterans from numerous wars, with over 260 people in attendance.

This historic election is one week away, and everyone is talking about who they are for this November 4^th. But the real question is - who is for you? Who is for your family and your future?

Women comprise the highest number of registered voters, and in Denver at the Democratic National Convention, I saw more women of all ages and races than in any other convention I have attended. Women will decide this election!

I returned, from the most exciting Democratic Convention I have ever attended. It has truly been incredible.  After attending three I can say that Denver reflected the most diversity in delegates. More women represented and people of all ages and races. Standing on that convention floor seeing everyone united, I was proud to be a Democrat.
